Map of Life is an online platform, based at the Jetz Lab at Yale University, that provides species distribution maps and species information from around the world. It integrates various data sources, including scientific literature, museum records, and citizen science data, to create comprehensive and up-to-date maps of species distributions. Map of Life aims to enhance our understanding of biodiversity and support conservation efforts by providing accessible and reliable information about species’ geographic ranges.
