The Half-Earth Project National Report Cards are assessments that evaluate and rank countries based on their progress and efforts in conserving the biodiversity they have stewardship over. They provide a comprehensive overview of each country’s conservation actions, protected areas, biodiversity status, and threats, offering insights into the status of biodiversity conservation at a national level. Each country is given a numerical score from 0-100 based on the Species Protection Index developed by the Half-Earth Project team. The National Report Cards are available on the Half-Earth Project Map and website.
